Federal Bank got RBI permission to enter Bahrain, Kuwait, Spore

Federal Bank was waiting for local clearances to start operations in Bahrain, Kuwait, Spore already it has representative offices in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The bank mainly aims on the digital alternatives to reach out to more customers. It's yearly turnover around 380 crores.

India won 8 medals in the Junior Asian Wrestling championship 2018

India won 8 medals in the category Junior Asian Wrestling championship. The medallist comprises of  2 gold, 3 Silver and 3 bronze. Sachin Rathi has won gold in the category of 74 kilograms. Deepak Punia has won gold in the category of 86 kilogram category. Iran topped the championship with the 189 points. India ranked high with 173 points and Uzbekistan with 128 points.

 
PM Modi inaugurates ambulance service in Sri Lanka country 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi digitally launched an India-assisted emergency ambulance service in Sri Lanka.  Apart from giving ambulances, the grant also covers the training of manpower in India and meeting operational costs for one year.
  • This is the largest Indian grant project is started in Sri Lanka, after the Indian housing project.
     
Kerala tops in governance, Karnataka 4th, says report

Kerala stands first as the best governed state in the country and Karnataka is in the fourth position, said the Public Affairs Index 2018 released by the think tank Public Affairs Centre (PAC).

Well known shuttler Lakshaya Sen clinches Asia Junior C’ship title

Indian badminton shutter Lakshaya Sen bagged the gold medal after defeating Indonesia’s top-seeded Kunlavut Vitidsaran in the final match of the Badminton Asia Junior Championship in Jakarta, Indonesia.
